Yoga, Lawsuits, and WTF Moments: My Journey Through Chaos

Yoga, Lawsuits, and WTF Moments: My Journey Through Chaos

From Rock Bottom to Radiant: How I Lost Everything and Came Back Bigger, Better & Stronger

Okay, people—grab your green juice, unroll your yoga mat, and settle in, because this isn’t just a story. It’s a journey. A journey of loss, resilience, and the ultimate glow-up.

If you’ve been following The Yoga Entrepreneur Blueprint, you know it’s my passion project, my way of helping yogis transform their love for the practice into a thriving business. But what you may not know is the wild, plot-twist-filled odyssey that brought me here.

Spoiler alert: I didn’t just rebuild a business. I rebuilt my life. And let me tell you, it’s bigger, brighter, and more powerful than I ever imagined.

The Dream That Went Up in Flames (Literally and Figuratively)

A few years ago, I had it all—an insanely successful fleet maintenance business, financial freedom, a gorgeous home, and a future that felt solid. But life, in all its unpredictable glory, had other plans.

First, my father fell ill with COPD, and watching him fade was a heartbreak that can’t be put into words. Then, my relationship—the one I thought was forever—turned into a full-blown courtroom drama. Instead of splitting assets like two reasonable adults, my ex turned our breakup into Family Probate Court: The Never-Ending Saga. He dragged me through legal hell with absurd accusations, got his kids involved (which still breaks my heart), and made it his mission to obliterate me financially, emotionally, and spiritually.

And he almost did.

I lost everything.

✔ My father. ✔ My home. ✔ My boat. ✔ My business. ✔ The family I thought I was building. ✔ My trust in the legal system (because wow). ✔ My entire sense of stability.

For a while, I wasn’t just struggling—I was free-falling. I went from living in my dream home to staying in my sister’s camper while waiting for what I thought would be an amicable split. (To be fair, this camper had a fireplace and was boushie as hell, so don’t feel too bad for me just yet.) Then, I upgraded to a stunning lakefront rental in Derry, NH—a place I should have been able to enjoy, but instead, I spent my days fending off legal attacks and trying to hold myself together.

I was in survival mode, just trying to get through the day. But here’s the thing about survival mode—it doesn’t last forever. At some point, you wake up and realize you’re still here. And if you’re still here, you get to decide what comes next.

The Shift: From Broken to Unbreakable

I spent a lot of time trying to “get myself back.” Every day, I’d tell myself, I just need to feel like me again.

And then, one day, it hit me—I’m already here. Just a little more polished. A little more experienced. A whole lot more focused.

I didn’t need to get back to anything. I needed to step into something bigger.

So I did.

I stopped looking at what I had lost and started focusing on what I was building. I realized that my ex, the court battles, the betrayals—they weren’t my burdens to carry anymore. They were just chapters in a book I had already finished reading. I had outgrown that story.

And let me tell you, my new story? It’s a bestseller in the making.

The Glow-Up: Bigger, Bolder, and Unstoppable

So what does life look like now?

✨ I’m not just rebuilding a business—I’m building a movement. The Yoga Entrepreneur Blueprint isn’t just about making money; it’s about creating freedom, abundance, and joy through yoga.

✨ I’ve reclaimed my power. No more playing small. No more letting people who never deserved me take up space in my mind or heart.

✨ I’ve built a life that is richer, deeper, and more fulfilling than the one I lost. I’ve let go of bitterness and replaced it with boundaries and peace. (Okay, and maybe a tiny bit of I told you so energy, but only in a Zen way.)

✨ Every day, I wake up knowing that I am exactly where I need to be. And so are you.

The Lesson: You Are Already Who You’re Meant to Be

If you’ve been knocked down, if you’re trying to “get yourself back,” let me save you some time: You are already here. You’re just a little more polished, a little more experienced, and a whole lot stronger.

💡 You are not broken. You are becoming. 💡 You are not lost. You are evolving. 💡 You are not a victim. You are a force to be reckoned with.

And if you’re ready to step into your next chapter, I’m here to help you make it bigger, brighter, and bolder than ever.

Did you know that slander and defamation of character, along with referencing minors without consent may get you in legal trouble. Remember that you have to prove that what your saying is actually true for it NOT to be slander / defamation of character. Does the financial statements actually show what you claim, will a forensic accountant actually agree with you? Furthermore, if someone reads the very public court cases you reference, they may formulate their own ideas. I would re-think this whole section and how much information you share.
